Why this site

Every summer, thousands of families ask the same question before heading home to Tunisia: take the ferry with the car, or fly and hire a car there? Booking sites sell one or the other, but none compares both with everything included: the drive to the port, tolls, the cabin, luggage, car hire for the whole stay.

Who's behind it

The site is built and kept up to date by Hafedh Ben Dhia, a web developer based in Tunisia. A question, a mistake to report, a price that has changed? Write to us at hafedh.bendhia.dev@gmail.com.

Where the prices come from

The flight price is the best real price found for your route, supplied by our partner Travelpayouts (Aviasales) and updated several times a day. Routes, crossing times, baggage and check-in rules are checked on the operators' official websites (CTN, Corsica Linea, GNV, Grimaldi Lines), and customs rules against official sources.

Ferry, fuel and car hire prices are averages published by booking sites and recent price surveys. Each guide lists its sources at the bottom of the page. These averages are rechecked regularly, and before every summer.

They are estimates for comparing both options, not guaranteed prices: the exact price is always the one on the booking site when you buy.

How the site is funded

When you book after clicking certain buttons, the partner site may pay us a commission, at no extra cost to you. These commissions don't influence the calculator: it always shows you the cheapest option. More about our affiliate links.
